Text and graphics are only able to convey the message(s) that a website visitor feels like reading or looking at (specific user chosen content). Video is different. Video will capture the visitors attention and convey your message much more effectively.
Website visitors are becomming much more apt to watch a video as they get tired from reading day and night on the internet. Video can be looked at (by a website visitor) as a "break" from them doing the work. They can turn their speakers up, sit back, and relax while watching the video.
A video can greet, guide, educate, or sell to a website visitor.
We have found, depending on the goal of the video, that a short video 30-45 seconds is watched to completion much more frequently than videos over a minute in length. This statistic is from greeting and guiding videos. Product education/demonstration videos, which are usually longer, are watched entirely because the user has opted to "learn more" and devote their time and attention to the longer video.
We have had numerous clients who have increased their sales, conversions, and click thru rates (as well as report that their visitors are staying on their site longer) after adding WebPeople to their site.
If you have any questions or would like more information about increasing your sales via video on the web, please feel free to contact us (info@webpeople.us)
